Would you like to recover at least some of the freedom and pleasure in movement that you knew as a child? You can!

 

Awareness Through Movement(R) lessons consist of movement sequences guided by spoken directions. Most are performed on a mat, and begin with easy movements that progress into complex patterns. The gentleness of these movements ensure their suitability for people of any age or condition. A different lesson is presented each week.

 

These classes incorporate techniques from the Feldenkrais Method, a revolutionary approach to health and fitness named after its originator, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais. His method of somatic education reawakens the natural process by which we as babies learned to crawl, walk, and talk.
